The Murphy Girls

These two lovely gals decided their birthday gift to each other was to have their pics taken together. Both are absolutely gorgeous and sweet, I mean duh, look at the photos! ;)

My favorite cousin is getting married! WooHoooo! She asked me to take some pictures this past weekend, and how could I say no?!

I was ecstatic to receive a phone call from this beautiful girl not too long ago, asking if I would do her senior pictures. Of course, I said yes. I love all of her photos so far, and I say so far because we aren't done yet! These are some shots from day 1!

So, this summer I also started selling Mary Kay! These shots were taken after I had just shown Miss Courtney some awesome products. P.S. - If you buy a MK set from me, I offer you a photo session at a discounted price.

A few weeks ago, at the beginning of summer break, I got to pup sit this adorable little fur ball! He modeled for me one afternoon. How Presh!

My favorite Michigander came back to Tech for a visit this spring. We went for a hike up to the Cascades where this shot was taken.

Later that week, this lovely lady volunteered to be my model and I think it was a very successful shoot. Even now, some of my favorite shots happened on this day.

"My camera made a baby!"

sometimes we like to pretend we're models

Over Spring Break, my best friend let me photograph her at Seashore State Park. Afterwards, we put the camera on self-timer and had some fun ;)

I joined a photography club, and I wanted to play around with lighting and what kind of emotions I could get out of black and white. This type of session was really therapeutic for me.

When I got back to school (VT go Hokies!) I asked one of my best friends if she wouldn't mind me practicing on her. I'm so glad she said yes because we had quite a fine afternoon goofing off at the Duck Pond.
The last shot is the "golden" shot!
